How can I get an apprentanceship as an electrician?

Okay so I want to become an electrician. I'm not sure what the nessacery steps in Persuing this would be.I just made this decision a few weeks ago and I'm not sure what to do, So any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much.
