Mona, who lives 25 miles on the out skirts of Las Vegas wanted to opt-out of the Smart Meter installation due to the claims of negative health effects as well as the fact, the Smart Meter which NV Power installed was making a humming noise consistently, disrupting her sleep. When NV Power Company would not respond to several phone calls Mona made, requesting assistance to assess the equipment put on her residence by NV Power, instead, they ignored her requests, did not call back, did not do a service call to find out why the Smart Meter was making noise.. The home owner, Mona after sleepless nights of Smart Meter sounds, hired an electrician to replace the Smart Meter with the GE analog meter. Two days later, NV Power came to her property unannounced, armed, went to the side of her house, and shut off her power, and confiscated her personal meter, leaving her property with zero power and zero meters.
