I need to install a new electrical outlet, but it will have to tap into a switched outlet. I do not want the switches to control the outlet. I understand the wiring of the outlet, but which wires do I connect to in the switched box? Thanks. There are two light switches in the box. Three wires coming in. There is a jumper wire from one switch to the other. The outlet (to plug in an appliance) will be about four feet below the light switches.
