What are Navy EM (Electricians Mate) Work hrs in deployment?)?

I'm going to be an EM (Electricians Mate) in the Navy. What are their work hours on deployments 12 18 hrs a day? And whats their work hrs when not on deployment 8? Are there any specific places where their stationed? And can I choose when I leave for boot camp? Can I work out a leave date or am I just going to be leaving whenever they want me to
