I am considering taking up an apprenticeship as an electrician. However, those around me (including my parent) think that I should go to university, since I have the marks for it. If I were to become an apprentice electrician, would it be a wise or at least viable idea to be a part-time university student as well? I will be focusing on business if I do take university courses. The main idea is that I will complete the apprenticeship, but also eventually get a degree. This is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
