Electricians/plumbers: Is it a pet peeve of yours when people ask you to give prices over the phone?

I'm an electrician, and it bugs me to no end when people call up and ask me to give prices over the phone sight-unseen. Why can't people understand that we cannot just rattle prices off over the phone without first seeing what we're getting ourselves into?
