looking for answers from people that have done it, thanks. im looking into possibly trying to join a union. i havent taken the test or anything yet, i looked at sample tests, they didnt look too hard. there's an interview involved right? tips for that? do's and donts? if i did get accepted what kind of work would i expect in the beginning? hours? i would have to take classes right? a couple nights a week or somethin? any info on that? i'v also heard that with this kind of work there isnt gauranteed work... like you could work for a few weeks then have a week or 2 off? am i right there? how long do you usually have off between jobs? any advise or tips are helpful. if it helps.. im not a complete newb with electical.. just with unions. im not really sure how they work. thanks to anyone who answers. thanks alot spray! another question... anyone remember how long it took from the time you took the test until you started working?
