There is no electrical wall socket behind my old gas oven. How do install one?

I do have a range vent hood above the freestanding oven hardwired into the wall, maybe I could possibly draw the power from the hood for an electrical box for the new gas oven I will be installing. Would I need to do anything special to do that? In esp. with the panel and the breakers? Kind of new at this stuff...thanks to all who answer.
