How much will an electrician charge approximately to put lights in a room that doesn't have any wires in it?

I need to get 2 lights put in my front living room. Currently there are no wires on that side of the house and I'd need to get a light switch put in as well. My brother can install the fixture, but I still need an electrician to, I guess, prep the site so all that is left to do is install the fixture. Does anyone have a clue as to how much that would cost?
