How demanding is the experience of electrical engineer in Building Construction Industry?

I have been offered a job in a construction industry as an electrical engineer. I am responsible for site visits and follow-up of construction projects for electrification works. This includes project planning in Primavera software. How demanding is this experience on international level? Should this be preferred to utility job in substation constrution or transmission lines?
