How can I convert a single electrical pulse or series of pulses to a digital signal?

So the plan is to convert a change in conductance of a carbon nanotube - DNA device (output ~1.5 micro Siemens) to a digital signal. The device is already complete, but what interface is needed to translate this electrical signal change into a digital signal so it could interface with a PC?
