Do I need an electrical permit? I had structural plans approved for a new dormer, that didt include ele work?

In PG county MD I am calling for a framing inspection, but I do not have any electric in the new dormer. The plans that the county approved do not show any electrical work. Do I 1) need to put electric in to pass the framing inspection 2) need to pull an electrical permit?
