So I live in Australia and recently bought a Hot Tools curling iron from the U.S.A, not realizing that the voltage used in Australia is different. I know I can buy a voltage transformer. But, what I want to know is: can an electrician change the power plug of the curling iron to the Australian plug and at the same time change the voltage to the Australia 220V so I don't need to fumble around with a transformer?
