How much would an electrician charge for this job?

I bought two Ice Cream Freezers, and both Cords are burned. I would not even attempt to plug it in. I need to have the cords replaced and also the compressor checked to ensure that it will operate properly. Assuming only the cords need to be replaced, how much would that cost. I will be calling someone local Monday. Just curious.
