is there a electrical extension cord that only works when the sun is shining?

I have a above ground swimming pool and a wonderful homemade solar heater, but the heater will not work unless the pump is running. I would like the pump to run when the sun is out. So is there a electrical extension cord that only works when the sun is shining?
